Ingredients
- 250g tuna (canned or pouch)
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 jalapeno, chopped
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 tbsp light mayo
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (sriracha)
- 1 lemon, squeezed
- salt & pepper to taste
- 4 slices bread of choice
- 1/3 cup light cheddar cheese
Steps
- 1. In a bowl, combine tuna, red onion, green onion, celery, jalapeno, minced garlic, parsley, light mayo, hot sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- 2. Spread the mixture onto slices of bread and top with light cheddar cheese.
- 3. Toast in a lightly buttered pan until golden, crispy, and melty.
Notes
Use high-quality tuna for the best results.
